To face the ever evolving threats we are evolving and expanding the Business Resilience Division.
The objective of the Business Resilience (BR) Division is to implement and maintain a BR framework that supports Euroclear’s role as a Financial Market Infrastructure, reducing the risks of business interruptions. This includes implementing protection measures , detecting potential incidents in their early stages and supporting the recovery of critical services in order to limit the impact of disruptions for Euroclear and the market.
The BR division collaborates across the organisation, with IT and Business Operations , Commercial and functions such as Human Resources, Risk Management and Compliance.
You will be joining our Business Resilience in charge of putting in place the required processes and controls to adequately and effectively protect our Business Services and information assets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Crisis Management and Exercise and Testing Specialist in our Business Resilience division, you will have the opportunity to collaborate globally across all business units and corporate functions. We value team players with expertise in crisis / incident management concepts, risk management, and communication skills. You will need strong collaboration skills and an understanding of regulatory requirements, risk standards, and risk governance frameworks.
The role will involve extensive process development and maturity, as well as significant stakeholder management and collaboration across locations and functions, as we look to evolve established programs to clearly support business partners in preparing for and responding to incidents & crisis.
Your areas of responsibilities will include some of the following:
- Thought leadership in the maturity and evolution of the Crisis Management and Exercising and Testing framework.
- Assess, consult, and provide effective challenge of Crisis Management activities and associated risks.
- Support the activation and facilitation of Crisis Management activities.
- Develop, contribute, assess, and effectively challenge crisis management plans, procedures, guidelines, and processes.
- Develop, facilitate, execute and support Crisis Management Exercises and Testing across the organization. These exercises and tests may be internal, with clients and/or with market authorities, amongst others.
- Develop, contribute, assess and effectively challenge exercise and testing plans, procedures, guidelines and processes.
- Manage, monitor and track post incident and post exercise reports, lessons learned, and improvement items. Evaluate, escalate, and monitor areas of concern into the Issue Management Framework.
- Education: Degree in IT or Business
- Several years of experience in Incident Response, Emergency Management, Crisis Management and/or Risk Management.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Crisis, Incident Management and Incident Response concepts.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills (e.g. ability to structure ambiguous problems and mobilize diverse teams to solve them; ability to lead the team to define the root cause of issues).
- Ability to move people to act (e.g. convening, structuring, owning the agenda and facilitating meetings and workshops to lead groups to agreement and commitment to execute).
- Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across the company, lead them towards common objectives and managing upwards and downwards (e.g., experience with acting as a constructive conduit between business and non-business teams).
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
- Ability to develop hypotheses and make quick decisions in a fail-fast supportive environment that fosters and encourages a continuous improvement mindset and execution.
