The Digital Curation Centre (DCC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to take responsibility for the DMPonline service and lead the associated team. DMPOnline (dmponline.dcc.ac.uk) is a leading platform that supports researchers in developing data management plans (DMPs) aligned with best practice, funder and institutional requirements. Financed through institutional and national consortia subscriptions, the platform plays a critical role in advancing research data management practices worldwide and provides a significant part of the DCC’s revenue
As the DMPOnline Service Manager, you will oversee the strategy, development, and operations of the platform. This high-visibility role involves engaging with diverse stakeholders, driving innovation, and representing DMPOnline at national and international forums. You will also oversee outreach, marketing, and promotional activities to ensure the platform’s continued growth and impact.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), open-ended contract based in Edinburgh We work on a hybrid basis that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £49,250 to £60,321 per annum.

· Proven experience managing IT products and leading teams in a professional setting.
· Strong knowledge of research data management and data curation issues.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an international audience.
· Demonstrable ability to innovate and drive service improvements using market trends and user feedback.
· Strategic planning and budgeting experience to ensure the sustainable growth of services.
