The Opportunity:
Research Fellow (qualitative methods) to join the Discovering Liveability: Co-producing alternatives to suicide prevention project, contributing to innovative suicide research that centres liveability and lived/living experience.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular (weekly) on-campus working. This is not a remote role. The position is available from March 2025. This post is fixed term for 5 years.
The salary for this post is UE07 (£40,247.000 to £47,874.00) per annum, but due to budgetary restrictions, appointments can be made up to step 4 within the grade, so between £40,247.00 and £43,878.00 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Experience in qualitative research methods, especially interviews.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing (including for academic publication).
Understanding of field of suicide studies, especially critical approaches.
A PhD in relevant field.
A developing record of peer-reviewed publications.
