This student-facing role combines the need for excellent administrative skills, an organised approach, attention to detail, and the ability to develop good working relationships with students and colleagues.  In doing so, the post holder has an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the continued success of undergraduate programmes at Edinburgh Law School.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The School of Law strives to be a diverse and inclusive community.  We particularly welcome applications from candidates belonging to groups that have been traditionally under-represented in the field.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are comfortable using a range of communication styles with different individuals across the organisation.
  • You will be used to organising your own time and workload, and will be comfortable working both independently and as a part of a team.
  • You will have a proven commitment to delivering a high standard, professional service to both students and colleagues alike.
  • You have excellent IT skills and will have significant experience of using spreadsheets and custom databases.
  • You are able to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of colleagues
