Job Description:
Through Baylor University Engage, students connect with Baylor alumni, parents, and friends on behalf of the University. Service as an ambassador ranges from providing a touchpoint to check in, saying thank you, or even sharing a variety of engagement opportunities, including those that are giving based. Participants will gain experience in communication, fundraising/sales negotiations, and networking that will be useful during and beyond their time at Baylor. The starting pay is $12/hour with a flexible, part-time schedule.
What We Do:
Connect with Baylor Family on an intentional and continuous plan via phone, video, text, call, and email
Act as a point of connection between constituents and the University
Discuss fundraising support for scholarships, research, and other campus wide initiatives
Thank individuals for past support, whether that be through giving or attending an event
Inform the Baylor Family about upcoming events

Minimum Requirements:
Have knowledge about Baylor University history, traditions and events
Work at least three shifts per week (3.5-hr each)
Strong and effective interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work under pressure and goal driven
Self-motivated
Ability to develop rapport and positive relationships with a variety of alumni, donors, and potential donors
Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility
Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications
Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly
Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
*Graduate students preferred, upperclassmen may be selected on a case-by-case basis.
